Isabella Taylor

Rene Suazo

Isabella grew up in the city of Chicago, IL and started riding horses at the age of 5. She grew up doing barn chores in exchange for lessons in a Hunter/Jumper barn in southern Illinois. Her love for training started as a young child because she couldn’t afford to have her own horse, so she was able to start riding off the track thoroughbreds for her trainers back home. Isabella attended Colorado State University from 2018-2023 where she studied Equine Science and played for the CSU Polo team. She fell in love with starting horses after she trained her first mustang in the 2020 Right Horse program at school, which turned into her realizing what she wanted to do with her degree. She became an intern for Wild Rose summer of 2022, fell in love with the job and was asked to onboard full time as Assistant Trainer in the fall of 2022. Since then Isabella has trained and adopted out multiple mustangs for the program, and has accomplished many life long goals; which includes finally buying her first personal horse.

Currently, Isabella continues to be Assistant trainer for Wild Rose alongside Sera Mendoza and head trainer, Cayla Stone. She has been able to show many mustangs in training in USEA recognized events and is currently training her own mustang, Fern, under saddle in hopes in brining her up the levels of Eventing.
