Valerie Keller grew up in Pennsylvania where her parents owned a farm with horses, sheep, dogs, and a cat. As a child, she participated in Pony Club, 4-H and competed in local hunter shows with her “second mom”, her horseback riding instructor! She took time away from riding to focus on running a pet sitting business with a cohort of horse clients, as well as returning to graduate school. Once steadily employed, Valerie began taking lessons from Cayla Stone and met her mustang Luna, whom she acquired in 2018.

Currently, Valerie works as an occupational therapist and spends her free time with her husband exploring Colorado in their camper and riding Luna. Luna excels at Eventing, casual and training rides at the stable, trail rides, and socializing with her horse and human friends.
