SUMMARY:Foster Care Challenge & Adoption Event
DESCRIPTION:Wild Rose is currently training two Mustangs\, Tinsel and Paloma\, as part of a collaborative effort with local organizations fostering and training Colorado HMA horses. Both Mustangs will be available for adoption at this event. \n\n\n\nFriday\, the 27th will be a visitation day\, offering the opportunity to meet the horses\, speak with trainers\, and learn more about each Mustang. On Saturday\, the 28th\, trainers will have 15 minutes to showcase their Mustang’s training\, including the fundamentals of a gentled horse. A live auctioneer will conduct the adoption auction during each showcase. \n\n\n\nAdopted Mustangs will depart for their new homes on the 28th; adopters should arrive with appropriate trailers. Additional event details and registration information will be available soon.

Join us on August 29\, 2026\, at the Ranch Events Complex in Loveland\, Colorado\, for the Wild Rose Mustang Training Challenge and Mustang Open Show!  This exciting event welcomes Mustang owners and enthusiasts to showcase their Mustangs in both in-hand and ridden classes while celebrating the versatility\, talent\, and partnership that make Mustangs so special.  Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or simply looking for a fun day with your horse\, we invite you to come be part of this unique Mustang-only event.  Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of competition\, camaraderie\, and all things Mustang!  Registration will close at midnight on 08/24/26 and event entry with be capped\, so make sure to register early for the fun Northern Colorado event.  The day will start at 8 am with our Mustang Trainer Challenge and then we’ll move to the open show in the afternoon.  Open show check-in starts at 11:30 am with Open Show starting at 1 pm.  High Point Cash & Prizes.
